Boston Celtics received unpleasant news just days before the start of the playoffs in the NBA. The team’s star Jaylen Brown is likely to miss their first game in the playoffs because of an arm problem.
The winger cut himself while watering flowers at his home, said Brown himself, who also missed the game against the Toronto Raptors.
The 26-year-old player broke a glass vase at home and cut himself while picking up the glass. Because of the accident, his right arm had to be sewn up with five stitches.
The NBA playoffs begin next weekend, and in the first round, Boston will play the winner of the play-in game between the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks.
Brown is averaging 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season as his team looks for another chance to challenge for the NBA title after the Celtics lost last year’s Finals to the Golden State Warriors .
