Seattle Kraken defeated the Minnesota Wild 4-3 at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, MN, to wrap up the regular campaign for 2 franchises that missed the postseason.
Ryan Hartman scored 6-on-4 on a power play for Minnesota with almost 1 minute left and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury pulled, but Seattle goaltender Joey Daccord — who stopped 21 shots, and his teammates held up the lead.

Brandon Tanev, who assisted on both of Yanni Gourde’s 3rd-period goals, sacrificed himself in the final seconds to block a shot and secure the victory for Seattle,
Kirill Kaprizov notched his 46th campaign goal on a power play in the 1st period, and Mats Zuccarello had the evening goal in the middle of the 3rd period for Minnesota.
Matty Beniers evened the match for Seattle in the 2nd period. He, the 2nd overall selection at the 2021 NHL Draft, dropped to 15 goals and 37 points this campaign after scoring 24 goals and earning 57 points in the previous campaign.
With Jamie Oleksiak and Will Borgen starting together in today's @SeattleKraken win, this marks the first time in franchise history that a defensive pair has started all 82 games together.
