Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag continues to enjoy full backing from the club’s leadership despite a challenging start to the season and having signed a new contract before the appointments of Sporting Director Dan Ashworth and CEO Omar Berrada, reports Sky Sports.
United have lost two of their first three Premier League matches, including a heavy 3-0 defeat to Liverpool. However, Ashworth and Berrada remain convinced of the Dutch manager’s abilities and are committed to supporting him.
“Erik’s contract was signed before our arrival, but we are happy with that decision,” said Omar Berrada, quoted by Sky Sports. “We fully support Erik and are prepared to help him achieve the best results. We have complete confidence in him and believe he is the right coach for us.”
Dan Ashworth added: “Working with Erik over the past eight weeks has been very productive. My role is to support him in everything he needs—from transfers to medical and psychological issues, training, or other matters that may distract him.”
