Manchester United dropped points in their UEFA Europa League opener, drawing 1-1 against FC Twente.
Among the Premier League teams competing in UEFA tournaments, only Liverpool secured a win in their first match. Manchester City and Arsenal both drew against Serie A opponents, while Chelsea has yet to play their Conference League opener.

However, Twente’s Sam Lammers equalized in the 68th minute with a left-footed shot that beat goalkeeper André Onana at his near post.
United pushed for a late winner, but Twente goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall made a crucial stoppage-time save to deny them the three points.
