Man United reject Dortmund’s offer to take back Sancho on loan

Manchester United have rejected Borussia Dortmund’s loan offer for their former player Jadon Sancho, reports say.

Sancho joined the Red Devils back in 2021 for an estimated £73m transfer fee.

However, the 23-year-old has struggled in his two-year stint at Old Trafford and has failed to establish himself as a firm starter.

Therefore, United are open to sell him, but only on permanent deal.

Sancho has scored 12 times in 79 appearances in his 2 campaigns with the Red Devils. His dip in form has affected his international status with the 23-year-old failing to register a game since October 2021.

United will be eager to sell some of their star players in order to fund Erik Ten Hag transfer plans as he continues his rebuilding process at Old Trafford.
