Manchester United will be without Yoro and Hojlund for the beginning of the new season.

The Red Devils’ new 52 million pound defender Leny Yoro has been ruled out for 3 months and forward Rasmus Hojlund will miss a month-and-a-half with injuries they sustained in the past weekend’s pre-season match against Arsenal.

Both footballers were forced off in the 1st half of the 2-1 loss at the SoFi Stadium in LA.

The defender was filmed at the Red Devils’ training base at UCLA yesterday wearing a protective boot and using crutches. That started rumors about a serious problem, and now it is confirmed that Yoro will be sidelined until the beginning of November.

That would mean he missed 9 EPL matches, featuring games vs. Liverpool, Spurs, and Aston Villa, and the start of his team’s Europa League and Carabao Cup tournaments.

Hojlund will be out until after the September international break, meaning the forward will miss the Liverpool match at Old Trafford on September 1st.
