The other teams interested in signing Balogun – Inter and Chelsea are not as close as Monaco as the Premier League team and the Ligue 1 team are in the final steps to finalize the transfer fee add-ons.
The American striker hasn’t played in Arsenal games since the beginning of the new campaign and wants to leave to be a starter after he did phenomenal while on loan in Reims, where he netted 21 goals in 37 matches in the French league.
If the London side sold Folarin for the fee being discussed at the moment, it would surpass the record sum recouped by the Gunners for a player – 44 million dollars from Liverpool for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017.
