New England not taking CB Jackson to overseas match

New England Patriots CB J.C. Jackson, who was demoted from the starting squad in the weekend’s defeat against Washington Commanders, is not expected to travel with the franchise to Frankfurt, Germany, for the weekend’s clash vs. Indianapolis Colts.

NFL Network 1^st announced that the cornerback won’t travel for the match, as that brings a lot of questions about his reliability. Some sources say that Jackson missed curfew at the franchise hotel on Saturday.

New England acquired Jackson in an exchange with LA Chargers on October 5^th, as the cornerback wasn’t playing for the Los Angeles team after inking a 4-year, almost 83 million dollar contract as a free agent in March 2022.

Pats lost rookie CB Christian Gonzalez, their 1^st round selection, to a torn right labrum at the beginning of the past month.

Jackson was utilized as a reserve CB in his 1^st match for the Patriots, where he was part of the 1^st 4 campaigns of his career (2018-2021).
