The NY Jets called the Las Vegas Raiders before the trade deadline to ask if the Raiders would consider trading the WR Davante Adams to the Big Apple.
The NFL organization from New York wanted to reunite Davante with ex-Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers, add another WR to complement Garrett Wilson and make it clear to the whole league that they are doing everything possible to triumph this campaign.
Trying to acquire the superstar wide receiver was a move New York had debated, discussed, and decided to try in the past few months as the Jets were waiting for the perfect opportunity to reach out to the Raiders to trade for the 3-time All-Pro.
