He will replace David Wagner, who was dismissed after the team’s 4-0 loss against Leeds in the Championship play-offs.
The Canaries finished 6th in the Championship under David, and his replacement will prepare the Carrow Road team for a 3rd straight campaign in the 2nd-tier.
Johannes has been leading Nordsjaelland since the beginning of 2023, having been promoted from his role as assistant manager.
“I really look forward to the next chapter in my managerial career; I hope that the fans will be happy also,” the new head coach shared.
“I believe that we can create something together, it’s crucial that the fans are proud of the club.
“I come here with my ideas, and I have my principles for how we are going to look on the pitch, but I’m ready to seek advice and keep the good stuff that has already been at Carrow Road.”
