Now it’s official – Novak Djokovic returns on the number one spot in the ATP rankings.
The Serbian will be a leader for a record 390 weeks as he won his 24th Grand Slam title on Sunday, lifting the US Open trophy after defeating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in New York.
The Serbian has 11,795 points and has a huge advantage over Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) with 8,535 points and Daniil Medvedev (Russia) with 7,280 points.
Legend keeps retiring other players but still standing at the top.

The other major move is Alexander Zverev, who is back in the top 10 for the first time since November 6 last year. The German reached the quarter-finals in US Open, but was eliminated by Alcaraz.
