LA Rams CB Derion Kendrick is feared to have torn an ACL during training. The cornerback will undergo additional testing to confirm the initial diagnosis.
Derion, a 6th-round selection 2 years ago, started 12 matches in the past campaign for the Rams. Kendrick had an interception and 10 passes defended in the past season.
This offseason, Los Angeles added to the CB room, inking Tre’Davious White and Darious Williams in free agency. During the LA’s offseason program, defensive coordinator Chris Shula labeled Derion as a footballer “doing a great job” at the position.
Yesterday, at Los Angeles 1st training camp practice, manager Sean McVay claimed he thought the secondary impressed by playing “a lot of sticky coverage.” The head coach listed 6 footballers in the secondary in his answer but did not mention Derion.
