Salernitana hands Milan a shocking 2-2 draw before Christmas

AC Milan took a huge blow on their title hopes as they finished 2-2 away to the last-placed Salernitana.

The Rossoneri lost another two players to injuries, bumping the total amount of physical problems so far in the season to 31.

Fikayo Tomori was able to open the scoring in the middle of the first half, taking the best position in front of goal after a sharp pass from Rafael Leao and heading the ball home.

At the last minute of regular time Giroud headed the ball to Jovic, who connected well from a volley and equalized for the final 2-2, which leaves Milan four points away from the second-placed Juventus.
