At the beginning of the month, the Ukrainian won in 3 sets – 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (9) against the Belarusian in Wimbledon. Given the nationals of the tennis players, the tension on the court is visible each minute.
Svitolina was very happy after defeating Azarenka in Wimbledon and even claimed that this was the happiest victory in her career.
Elina added that the fact that her opponent is from Belarus gave her extra motivation, and she played for Ukraine, trying to make people back home happy with a win, which meant a lot to her.
