Thanasis returns for his 5th campaign with the Bucks after appearing in 37 games last year while shooting a career-low 43.5% from the field.
He played 162 matches (11 from the first minute) for Milwaukee over the past 4 campaigns, averaging less than 9 minutes per game, almost 3 points, and almost 2 boards.
Antetokounmpo is part of the Greek national team for the upcoming World Cup in August.
This will be Thanasis’ 6th campaign in the league after being selected by NY Knicks in 2014. He joined the Big Apple’s developmental league affiliate in Westchester before debuting in the league during the 2015-16 campaign and then spent 3 years in Europe before joining in Bucks his younger brother and 2-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Milwaukee has reached the maximum of 15 guaranteed deals on their team.
