NY Jets QB Aaron Rodgers has witnessed just about everything over 2 decades in the National Football League, but this is a new one: DE Haason Reddick is demanding a trade before showing up for a single training.
Unusual without a doubt, but Aaron revealed today he wishes Haason to change his mind. The 4-time MVP shared that he might reach out to the edge rusher to try to convince him to remain in the team and be part of “a fun ride” in the upcoming season.
“There’s always new things in the NFL,” the Jets quarterback shared after training. “I’ve been around 20 years; I’ve seen almost everything. I think as footballers we always first try to side with the footballer because we know what it is like to be part of this league.”
Rodgers added that he doesn’t know Reddick well but will try to reach out to him and try to convince him to play with him in the upcoming campaign.
"Obviously we'd love for him to be here, but we don't judge him for trying to do what's best for him. I think what's best for him is to be a Jet, because this is going to be a fun ride."
