Originally, the pick was Lions’, but the Tiger-Cats got it in the Dane Evans exchange.
Jonathan (27) joined BC Lions in May. He has played 26 matches in the Canadian Football League as part of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers over 2 campaigns in 2019 and 2021. He has 29 tackles and 4 sacks.
Kongbo played 3 matches last year in the NFL for the Denver Broncos. He was also part of the San Francisco 49ers practice squad.
Hamilton will begin their 2023 campaign on Friday vs. the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
