Bruno Fernandes first half red card made the Red Devils' job even harder

Tottenham Hotspur secured a commanding 3-0 victory over 10-man Manchester United in the Premier League, with goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke. Spurs, under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, dominated the match from the start, climbing to eighth in the league with 10 points from six games, while United sit in 12th place with seven points.

Spurs took the lead just three minutes in when defender Micky van de Ven carried the ball deep into United’s half and provided a perfect low cross for Johnson, who tapped in the opener. United’s troubles worsened when Bruno Fernandes was sent off in the 42nd minute for a high challenge on James Maddison, leaving them with 10 men.

Tottenham doubled their lead early in the second half after Lisandro Martinez slipped, allowing Johnson to break away. His deflected cross fell to Kulusevski, who acrobatically finished past United keeper André Onana. Dominic Solanke added a third in the 77th minute, poking the ball in from close range after Pape Matar Sarr’s header from a corner by substitute Lucas Bergvall.

The result left many United fans leaving Old Trafford early, as Spurs cruised to an impressive win.
