World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is sure that Francis Ngannou’s physique will hinder the Cameroonian in their fight, instead of helping him. The two fighters will compete on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Their clash is scheduled for ten rounds, but the Gypsy King thinks Ngannou’s muscles will fatigue him and his stamina will be affected.
“He won’t last. His body looks too good. I’ve told you about those “ripped” guys before…they look too good and carry too much muscle. When I felt how strong he was at the press conference, I knew he couldn’t win,” the Brit told Sundae Conversation.
Fury added that he himself would never strive to have a six pack and show good muscles.
“Never! This offends me. A lot of fighters think they have to look like bodybuilders. I always show up with a belly, a bald head and look awful without a t-shirt. And when I knock out those with the abs, everyone wonders what’s going on,” he said.
