Games will have more injury time this campaign to get more preciously the minutes that the ball was in play, while players and head coaches have been told they will be punished worse for poor behavior during the matches.
Pep Guardiola also shared his opination about the new time rule, which is also negative.
“We had a meeting a few days ago with the FA. They recommended new decisions and rules from the referees,” the Manchester United defender shared on social media.
He added that the head coaches and players have shared that the program is too tight, and they don’t have enough time to rest and recover until the next match, but despite that, now with the rule, they will have to play even longer matches every few days.
