Caroline Wozniacki, ex-world number 1 and 2018 Australian Open champ, shared today that she is unretiring 3 years after she called it a career.

The U.S. Tennis Association immediately took the initiative and shared with the media that they would provide her with a wild card for the upcoming U.S. Open.
“Over these past 3 years away from tennis, I spent much time with my family; I became a mother and now have 2 beautiful children I am so thankful for. But I still have dreams I want to fulfill. I want to show my kids that you can do what you want no matter your age or role,” Caroline shared on social media. “I and my entourage decided it’s time. I’m returning to the WTA Tour and can’t wait for my upcoming matches!”
