AC Milan emerged triumphant in a difficult game against AS Roma away from home on Friday night.
Victory means Stefano Pioli’s men preserve their 100% win record from the start of the 2023-24 campaign in the Serie A and have the full 9 points in the back.

However, it wasn’t smooth sailing for the Rossoneris as Jose Mourinho’s Roma, as expected, proved to be a stubborn opposition.
Olivier Giroud gave the away team an early lead as the 37-year-old calmly slotted home a penalty in the 9th minute.
Pioli’s men got off to a flying start in the second half as Rafel Leao doubled their lead with just three minutes played.
Things got significantly tougher for the away side in the 61st minutes, when defender Fikayo Tomori was sent off for a second yellow card.
Roma tried to capitalize and did reduce the deficit towards the end through Leanardo Spinazzola, who came on as a substitute in the second half.
But the Romans eventually ran out of steam and the Milano team walked away with the full 3 points and they now cement their place at the top of Serie A.
