AC Milan are interested in Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile. The Rossoneri have targeted the Frenchman for a transfer in the January window.
The 22-year-old centre-back was brought to Stamford Bridge from Monaco last winter for €38m. However, he failed to impress last campaign and has been dogged by injuries since the start of the season and eventually lost his starting place in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, failing to record a single Premier League minute.
Milan are considering taking advantage of the situation and taking the Frenchman into their ranks. The Rossoneri have problems in defence, where Pierre Kalulu is injured and Simon Kjaer is also often out and cannot be at his full potential. That’s why the club is looking for reinforcements and has targeted Badiashile.
At this stage, it is unlikely that Milan will send an offer to buy the player, and it is unlikely that Chelsea will agree to such an option, since Badiashile is a young and promising player who has yet to reveal his full potential. It is more likely that the two clubs will agree to loan the player until the summer.
