The Sky Blues waited until the 88th minute to take the lead in London.

Manchester City won against Tottenham 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a matchup from the 1/16 finals of the FA Cup, and the team advanced to the next phase of the tournament that they won in the past season. Cityzens reached the 5th round of the FA Cup for a 9th straight campaign.

Oscar Bobb scored in the 5th minute, but his goal was disallowed for an offside.

Pep Guardiola’s side dominated the match as they had almost 20 goal attempts compared to only 1 for the home team.

However, Spurs were very close to surviving and forcing a match at Etihad, but in the 88th minute, Nathan Ake secured a rebound inside the box and netted the 1st goal in the match in the last possible moment.

The referee gave 5 additional minutes, but Manchester City controlled the ball, and Spurs had no chance to try to score and tie the match.
