Barca won El Classico vs. Real after extra time to lift Copa del Rey

Barcelona triumphed with its 32nd Copa del Rey title.

Barcelona won an amazing match against Real Madrid 3-2 after an extra time to secure the Copa del Rey trophy as the big hero for the Catalan side was Jules Kounde with his goal in the extra time.

The Catalan side had a 1-goal lead at halftime and it was deserved as they played better than Los Blancos.

The only goal in the 1st half came in the 28th minute when Lamine Yamal provided the ball to Pedri at the edge of the box and he scored into the top left corner.

Jude Bellingham scored in the 35th minute but the English international was visible offside and the goal was disallowed.

In the 44th minute after a corner Barcelona was very close to score again as the ball bounced away off the right post.

In the extra time of the 1st half, the referee gave a penalty to Real Madrid for a foul against Vinicius but the Brazilian was in offside position.

Kylian Mbappe entered at halftime and that changed everything as the Royal Club started to dominate. They had to wait until the 70th minute when for a foul against Mbappe the French superstar took it and score to tie the result in the 70th minute.

Los Blancos took the lead for the 1st time in the match in the 77th minute when Arda Guler from the corner provided the ball to Aurelien Tchouameni who headed it to make it 2-1.

However, that wasn’t all and Barcelona tied 2-2 in the 84th minute when Lamine Yamal assisted Ferran Torres who scored after Thibaut Courtois left his goal line and was passed.

In the last minute of the extra time, the Catalan side received a penalty but after a VAR review, the referee reversed his decision and showed a yellow card to Raphina.

Jules Kounde became the big hero in the final after he scored for 3-2 in the 116th minute as he stole a pass from Luka Modric and netted with an amazing shot the winning goal.
