Bellingham triumphs with La Liga Player of the Year

Jude was voted to win the prestigious award.

Los Blancos and England star Jude Bellingham has been voted La Liga’s Player of the Season in his debut campaign in Spain.

Jude (20) netted 19 goals in La Liga to help his team to secure the title by 10 points.

The midfielder also netted 4 times in the UCL as Real Madrid will play for the trophy on Saturday at Wembley vs. Borussia Dortmund.

England international beat his team-mate Vini Jr. Antoine Griezmann, Artem Dovbyk and Robert Lewandowski in votes cast by supporters, team captains and a panel of specialists.

Bellingham also triumphed with the 2022-23 Bundesliga Player of the Season during his time with Dortmund before his transfer to Los Blancos for over 100 million euros.

“I want to share the award with my team-mates, the managerial staff, and, most importantly, to the supporters of the biggest football team in the world,” Jude, who was unable to attend yesterday’s ceremony as he is getting ready for the Champions League final, shared in a message.
