Jude Bellingham praised Gareth Southgate as “easily 1 of the best managers in the history of England” after the head coach announced that he is leaving his position earlier today.
Gareth resigned today after nearly 8 years as the head coach, with England’s 2-1 defeat against Spain at the past weekend’s Euro 2024 final his last game in charge.
Real Madrid star Bellingham shared on social media that his former manager is “an unbelievable human being.”
“I would like to express my gratitude to Southgate and his staff for the great memories during his time,” Jude shared.
“From the point of view of a supporter who has become a part of the team, it’s been a rollercoaster of great emotions that has instilled hope and joy back into the Three Lions.”
Jude added that he is proud that Gareth is phenomenal human being and wished him all the best in the future on and off the pitch.
