Two of the league’s most prominent WRs will be part of the Cincinnati Bengals in the coming years.
Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins shared with the media that they have reached an agreement for deal extensions. Ja’Marr agreed to a 4-year, 161 million dollar contract that features 112 million dollars guaranteed, while Tee agreed a deal for the same amount of time for 115 million dollars that is guaranteed for the 1st 2 seasons.
Ja’Marr’s contract has an annual average of 40 million dollars, setting a league record for a non-QB’s highest average annual salary.
NFL history: The Bengals have agreed to record deals making Ja’Marr Chase the highest-paid non-QB and Tee Higgins the highest-paid WR2 in the league, per sources. The deals were in place all weekend and Higgins announced the agreement.

The Bengals QB Joe Burrow will be happy as he wanted the duo to remain part of Cincinnati and advocated for them to sign extensions.
Chase, who turned 25 at the beginning of the month, is coming off 1 of the best campaigns by a receiver in National Football League history. Ja’Marr became the 5th footballer since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to secure the triple crown, leading all footballers in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708), and receiving TDs (17).
Tee had problems with injuries in the past campaign but still played great when he was on the field.
