Araujo (23) joined the Catalan side from LA Galaxy in the past summer before immediately being loaned out to Las Palmas, where he played 25 matches in the league.
Julian becomes the Premier League club’s 5th summer inking after Dean Huijsen, Luis Sinisterra, Enes Unal and Alex Paulsen.
“Araujo is someone who we have scouted for a while now and we’re happy to bring him to the Cherries,” shared chief executive Neill Blake.
“Julian is a young footballer with high potential, and we are satisfied to have beaten lots of competition for him to be part of our team.”
The full-back started his career in Major League Soccer with LA Galaxy, where he played 108 games for the 1st team. Julian played 13 matches for his national team and was part of the squad that triumphed in the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup.
