Darren Bent says he would pick Havertz over Rashford

Darren Bent has ranked Kai Havertz above Marcus Rashford, as the Manchester United’s man struggles continue.

Havertz himself came under severe criticism for his lacklustre performances after his £65m move in June, but he has improved massively, scoring twice in the last two games.

Meanwhile Rashford has found the back of the net only twice this campaign after netting superb 30 goals in 2022-23. On the basis of that, Bent expressed his concern for the lack of consistency by the Englishman and said he would rather choose Havertz over him.

“Currently where we are now, give me Havertz. I don’t want Rashford at the minute. I don’t know what I’m getting from Rashford.” Bent said.

“Last season, after the World Cup, Rashford was unbelievable. I’ve not seen that Rashford since. Right now, give me Kai Havertz over Rashford.”
