Dennis Schroder has signed a two-year contract with Raptors, the NBA team from Toronto announced.
ESPN reported that the contract was worth $26 million as Schroder will join his sixth NBA team in his career. The 29-year-old averaged 12.6 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 66 games for the Lakers last season.
Schroder has career averages of 14.0 points, 4.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 687 games for Atlanta (2013-2018), Oklahoma City (2018-2020), Lakers (2020-2021; 2022-2023), Boston (2021-2021 2022) and Houston (2022).

At the same time Boston Celtics have extended the contract of new signing Kristaps Porzingis by two years, so the agreement will be in effect until the end of the 2025-2026 season. The club did not disclose financial terms, but ESPN claims the contract is worth $60 million and is effective from the 2024-2025 season.
