The Washington Commanders traded 2022 1st-round selection Jahan Dotson and next year’s 5th-round selection to the Eagles in exchange for a 3rd-round selection and 2 7th-round selections in next year’s draft.
By getting Jahan, Philly secured their number 3 WR to complement star wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, both of whom inked long-term deal extensions in recent months.

The wide receiver adds yet another playmaker for Jalen Hurts, who is also surrounded by RB Saquon Barkley and TE Dallas Goedert.
Jahan (24) had 49 receptions for 518 yards and 4 TDs for Washington in the past campaign.
Commanders picked the WR with the 16th selection 2 years ago, having traded back 5 spots. But in 2 seasons, Jahan failed to become what the franchise needed. In 29 matches for the Commanders, Dotson caught a combined 84 passes for 1,041 yards and 11 TDs.
Jahan failed to become the number 2 receiver opposite Terry McLaurin during the offseason.
