Centres Manu Tuilagi and Joe Marchant netted tries, and Owen was unerring with the boot, including a drop-goal in the final minutes, as England had a 21-10 lead after the 1st half and were dominant for the 1st 60 minutes before Fiji started to play their best game in the 4th quarter.
Fiji netted tries through Viliame Mata, prop Peni Ravai, and fly-half Vilimoni Botitu, and will rue 3 very easy shots at goal that they didn’t score, as well as unforced errors that helped England to keep their lead and triumph in the end and be among the top 4 teams at the Rugby World Cup.
Brilliant as always to have our patron Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales in attendance in Marseille.#ENGvFIJ | #RWC2023 pic.twitter.com/gPyuXNjt4l
