Everton sacked Sean Dyche as Everton boss after less than 2 seasons at the helm at Goodison Park.
He leaves just hours before the club host League 1 team Peterborough in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
The Toffees revealed that their under-18s head coach, Leighton Baines, and team captain, Seamus Coleman, will take charge of the club for that match.
🚨🔵 Everton have already started talks to find replacement for Sean Dyche as he’s been sacked today.
Coleman and Baines not expected to be there for long term as Friedkin Group is now working on new head coach.

Everton were defeated 1-0 by Bournemouth in the past weekend and are in the 16th place in the EPL and just 1 point clear of the relegation zone. The team failed to register a shot on target at Vitality Stadium and have triumphed in just 3 matches from 19 in the Premier League this campaign.
Sean, whose deal was due to expire after the end of the season, replaced Frank Lampard at the end of January in 2023 with the Toffees in the relegation zone.
He saved them with a 1-0 victory vs. Bournemouth on the final day of that campaign.
This is the team’s last campaign at their 132-year-old venue before moving to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
2 – Across Sean Dyche's final 10 games in charge of Everton, the only player to score more than once for them was Craig Dawson, who scored two own goals playing for Wolves in December. Nonsense. pic.twitter.com/SXOlR6k9Gi
