Fermin leads Spain to a 2-1 win against Morocco and Olympics final

Spain won vs. Morocco 2-1 at Stade Vélodrome in Marseille after trailing at halftime, but Fermin Lopez’s heroics in the 2nd half secured the European country victory and reached the final at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Soufiane Rahimi converted a penalty in the 37^th minute to secure the lead for the African country after the 1^st 45 minutes despite that players played almost an hour after 12 minutes additional time as the match was stopped as the main referee injured himself and had to be replaced.

In the 2^nd half, however, Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez led his country’s comeback as he tied the result in the 66^th minute and, after that, provided the assist for the winning goal scored by Juanlu Sanchez in the 85^th minute.
