Dejan (46) had traveled with Golden State for today’s match vs. the Utah Jazz.
The league shared that the match has been postponed because of a “medical emergency in the Golden State family” and that additional information on when the match will be played will be revealed later.
There were basketballers and managers at the restaurant when Dejan’s health episode occurred.
The assistant coach, who joined Steve Kerr’s staff in 2021, is a respected and popular manager in the league and international basketball communities. Milojevic has a strong relationship with his compatriot Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
Dejan played basketball for 15 years in Europe, including periods in his native country, Spain, Montenegro, and Turkey.
