Inter won 2-0 against Benfica in the first leg of their quarter-final clash in Champions League. The Italian side scored both goals after the break in Lisbon and are looking confident before the return leg in Milano in a week time.
Both teams had one opportunity each in the first half. Rafa Silva had a chance to open the scoring, but Onana made a great safe, while Acerbi’s shot flew over the crossbar in the 25 minute.
Right after the break the Italian side took the lead. Bastoni crossed the ball into the penalty area and Nicolo Barella jumped highest to connect with the ball and headed it home.
