Inter are preparing for the Champions League final against Manchester City, and their president Steven Zhang has earmarked a $11 million bonus for the team if the Nerazzurri win the trophy.
The Italian giants have not played in a Champions League final since 2010, when Jose Mourinho led the team to the treble. Manchester City are now trying to complete a hat-trick of trophies themselves.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter president Zhang wants to motivate his players to go into this game even stronger, allocating a total of $11 million as a bonus, which will be distributed among the team if the players triumph with the Champions League trophy .
Inter’s players already have bonuses written into most of their contracts should they triumph in the Champions League.
