Italy with very crucial victory against Ukraine in Milano

Italy won against Ukraine 2-1 in Luciano Spalletti’s 1^st home match at the helm of the nation at San Siro and grabbed the 2^nd place in Group C with 7 points – Ukraine and North Macedonia each also had 7 points, but Italy played 4 matches while the other 2 teams already had played 5 games.

However, Ukraine started to play better in the final minutes of the 1^st half, and Andriy Yarmolenko scored in the 41^st minute to make it 2-1 and get his nation back in the match.
