Dallas Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones shares he wants to increase minority stakes at the ownership level in National Football League organizations.
“Nobody got in on a wing and prayer more than me, and I really couldn’t afford it,” the owner shared after Dallas’ 30-10 victory vs. the NY Jets. “But I got it on my plate as we look and see — and we do see — the qualified potential buyers that exist, and that’s 1 way. It’s not the single way.
We can fight with the inequity in different ways—multiple ways to solve this problem. And for me, I think that 1 way is to try to work to improve ownership in the minority area. And I support that, and I do it. That’s my philosophy.”
