Jude Bellingham sustained a high ankle sprain in Real Madrid’s victory against Girona in the league yesterday, the team shared today.

Real Madrid staff see Jude out for 2-3 weeks, hoping for his return for Leipzig match on March 7th.

The England international netted 2 goals in the 4-1 win vs. title rivals Girona that saw Los Blancos go 5 points ahead of everyone at 1st place in La Liga. However, Jude left the pitch at the beginning of the 2nd half with a problem in his left ankle.
Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti shared that his superstar would undergo tests, with the club confirming today that Jude suffered a sprained ankle.
Real Madrid did not provide a timeline when he will be healthy to be on the pitch again, although Bellingham is reportedly expected to be out until the end of February.
Jude will definitely miss the Champions League 1/8 finals clash vs. RB Leipzig on Tuesday before Los Blancos play against Rayo Vallecano in the league.
