Jurien Timber could be out for months with serious knee injury

Arsenal have expressed their fear that new signing Jurien Timber may be sidelined for a long time after sustaining a serious knee injury in season’s opening game against Nottingham Forrest.

The center-back was substituted midway through the second half with a suspected knee problem and further scans have suggested the injury might be more serious than first anticipated.

However, reports have suggested that a potential torn anterior cruciate ligament is not to be feared as the Gunners were initially worried.
