Almost a year ago, Kawhi Leonard was hobbled. The superstar tried to compete through the pain, but it was not a pleasant view, and in the end, his team shut him down ahead of Game 4 of their 1st-round postseason defeat to the Mavs.
It took the Clips star several months to recover from his problems. It forced LA to find a way to play without him at the beginning of the new campaign, and even the media stopped asking when we would see Leonard on the court again.

In that time, Kawhi did everything possible to return to his best shape, and that paid off as he showed that in the Clippers’ 105-102 victory against the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of their 1st-round West Conference postseason matchup at Ball Arena.
“I’m thrilled that I’m able to show my best game,” Kawhi revealed after notching 39 points as he scored 15-for-19 from the field. “The most important thing for me is that I’m healthy. I wasn’t able to play in the postseason in the past 2 years. So to be on the court, it makes me happy no matter the result.”
