The Reds’ campaign is beginning to unravel and boss Jurgen Klopp is at a loss to explain why this is happening.
A 1-0 defeat at Anfield vs. the Eagles damaged Klopp’s side EPL title chances today, 3 days after the English team lost 3-0 against Atalanta again at home in the 1st leg of the Europa League ¼ finals.

Those straight home defeats come after the past weekend’s draw with the Red Devils at Old Trafford and leave Liverpool looking up the table at leaders Manchester City.
“Could be,” the German manager answered when asked if the defeat to the Eagles was a hangover from the loss to Atalanta. “If you look at my clubs over the years, I believe you could say our pressing is usually at a high level; the counter press also. The 1st half today, we were open — like how can that is even possible?”
Klopp added that his team played a bad match, and it might affect his players today, but that’s not an excuse.
