LA Lakers advances to in-season tournament 1/4 finals

The Los Angeles Lakers are 1 step closer to Las Vegas.

The NBA franchise from California defeated the Utah Jazz 131-99 to triumph in their group and clinch the ¼ finals in the league’s inaugural in-season tournament.

The in-campaign tournament appeared at a fantastic time for Los Angeles. They began the season 3-5 and were in a 3-match losing streak before their 1^st match from the group in the new NBA tournament. However, the Lakers won all their clashes vs. the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, and Jazz to secure the top position in Group A in the West Conference.

James and his teammates secured their 3^rd straight victory and now are 9-6 since the beginning of the campaign.

“That was fantastic that we were able to make it to the next phase and secure the elimination phase of the in-season tournament,” LeBron claimed after the triumph against Utah, where he notched his 39,000th point in the NBA.
