Los Angeles Lakers will unveil a special statue of team legend Kobe Bryant on February 8, 2024, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Thursday.
The basketball legend spent his entire professional career with the Lakers between 1996 and 2016, wearing the numbers 8 and 24, which were retired after his retirement. The date is not a coincidence as it will be 2/8/24, showing his legendary numbers.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Bryant won five NBA championships, was an 18-time All-Star, a 15-time member of the All-NBA Team.
