Javier Tebas may be involved in a new scandal in Spain

According to the Spanish newspaper “La Vanguardia”, the president of La Liga – Javier Tebas sent false evidence to the prosecution, directly implicating former Barcelona presidents Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell.

Tebas did so using, according to reports, a document handwritten by the club’s deceased former director Josep Contreras. In fact, the Contreras family has confirmed that the names appearing in the document are not those of former Barca presidents. Thus, the manuscript that the president of La Liga provided to the prosecution has nothing to do with the “Negreira case”.

Everything was resolved through an explanation from the family of the deceased, who confirmed that the document was written decades ago and that the names that appear are actually those of Emilio Roman, Contreras’ lawyer, Ramon Rosell, the accountant of his companies, and Josep Maria is was an employee of the Catalan bank. Nothing to do with Barca’s former presidents.
