Manchester United player Luke Shaw is expected to be unavailable for his club for a long time after suffering a muscle injury.
The Red Devils are still assessing the extent of the defender’s injury, hoping that the 28-year-old player will miss several weeks instead of months.
Luke was a crucial player in the past campaign for Erik ten Hag’s side as they qualified for the Champions League and triumphed in the League Cup, as the manager used him as the left-back and as the centre-back during the season.

Shaw’s injury is a very big hit to the ambitions of the team from Old Trafford after another left-back, Tyrell Malacia, wasn’t part of Manchester United’s preseason tour after suffering an injury in the past campaign.
The England international will also miss his country’s upcoming European Championship qualifiers as John Stones and Tyrone Mings are also unavailable to play during the international break. England will play against Ukraine on September 9th.
