Manchester City won 2-0 against Tottenham in London and returned to the 1st place in the Premier League with 2 more points than Arsenal as that was Pep Guardiola’s side’s game in hand.
We didn’t see any goals in the 1st half as the home side played better but the Sky Blues missed a golden opportunity in the final minute of the 1st half.
However, Manchester City took the lead in the 51st minute when Kevin De Bruyne assisted Erling Haaland and the Norwegian scored for 1-0. After that, Spurs played better than City and missed a lot of chances to tie the clash with the most shocking one in the 86th minute when the North London side captain Heung-Min Son was left alone inside the penalty area with Ortega who replaced Ederson but the Korean failed to score.
