Despite being the underdogs the Dallas team pulled off a sensational performance

Dallas Mavericks won in a dramatic fashion against clear favorites Los Angeles Lakers 111-110 with Maxi Kleber last-gasp 3-poInter securing them the victory on Friday night.

The Dallas team were without their star player Luka Doncic, who missed out on a fourth consecutive game with a left tigh bruise and that made the win even more impressive.

The ending could not have been more climactic with Maxi Kleber first scoring three free throws with 7.2 seconds to spare after Anthony Davis rather silly fouled him on a 3-point attempt. Dallas managed to steal the ball afterwards as Irving found Kleber for a open 3-poInter and the 31-year old made a light use of it, securing his team a victory right at the dead.

Irving scored 13 points in the fourth quarter for the Mavericks on his return after short injury spell, which got him out of play for three games.

Los Angeles were without their superstar LeBron James, who was sidelined for a 10th straight game after Lakers victory over Dallas last month, as they faltered to 5 defeats in their last 10 games without their starlet.

Davis scored 26 points and had 10 rebounds for the Lakers, as they missed a worrying 12 out of their 31 free throws attempts.

The Los Angeles team suffered another major blow to their playoff ambitions as they were unable to make a field goal in the final 3:16 and despite leading by 4 points in the final minute and having possesion of the ball, they still were unable to bring it home.
